Online Ground School
Take a bold step towards the future in our virtual classroom. ASWI allows students within the Caribbean and Latin America to virtually take our Ground School Course. This unique system will allow students to save money while achieving their goals.
Final exams and training are to be completed onsite. This step allows students the flexibility of remaining in the comfort of their home for 60% on the Ground School required classroom time being offered by ASWI.
Breakdown
Once completing the option of online ground school in your home, you will be required to travel to Jamaica to:
Complete one-on-one session(s) with an instructor to cover a certain basis of the training.
Write JCAA Ground School Exam
Acquire an approved medical certificate
Acquire a Student Pilot License
Start Flight Training
Requirements For Ground School:
Must be 16 years or older.
Applicants must have a medical from an approved Aviation Medical Officer.
Complete Secondary Education with 5 CSEC passes or equivalent.
Can speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
All applicants must present a valid National ID or passport from their country of origin.
